“Great first-time experience of Bowen in the safe hands of an experienced practitioner. Almost immediate relief of tightness in neck & arm and then when I arrived home - a full 8- hours night’s sleep for the first time in many months. Bliss.
Lynn”
“Roland is extremely professional and knowledgeable about a range of different conditions. After just three treatments, my symptoms have improved and I am less reliant on pain relief. I’d definitely recommend Roland and the Bowen Technique.
Thank you!

Yes. I design and deliver onsite wellbeing workshops, stress reduction sessions, DSE assessments with massage, and team wellbeing days for businesses and organisations of all sizes. Get in touch to discuss a bespoke package for your team.
-
In the first session I will begin by taking a medical history and find out more about what you need support with. I will look at your posture, flexibility, how you move, how your muscles are working and a short look at your lifestyle.
We can then decide on which treatment will help you and deliver that in this session as well.
-
Bowen Therapy is generally not painful. The therapy involves gentle, precise moves over specific points of the body using fingers and thumbs, which stimulate nerve pathways and help reset muscles and fascia. It does not involve forceful manipulation or deep pressure.
While the Bowen session is not painful people can experience tenderness, soreness, fatigue in the following days after the treatment while the body adjusts. This will usually settle down after a few days.
-
This can vary depending on your goals. For Bowen therapy usually 2-5 session is enough for most issues. Coaching, training, massage and advice can continue as long as is required.

Bowen Therapy is not a massage. It uses a unique set of techniques that focus on the body's nervous system and fascial tissue. It does not involve oils or require undressing.

I do not diagnose, as I am not a medical professional. However, I can often provide insights into what may be causing the problem and signpost you to the appropriate person should a diagnosis be required.

For Bowen Therapy, treatments can be delivered through light clothing if preferred.
-
A DSE (Display Screen Equipment) assessment looks at how you sit, work and move at your desk, identifying postural habits that may be contributing to pain or discomfort. I combine this with targeted Bowen moves to address existing tension and provide practical advice on improving your workstation setup and movement habits. Can be delivered onsite or as part of a corporate wellbeing programme.
