Dip PT DipSM Cert Bowen FHT

Hello and welcome,

I have been practising and developing as a therapist since 2003. Initially qualifying in Sports Massage and Personal Training. I have widened my skill set to become a fully certified Bowen therapy practitioner to enable me to help with more conditions and solve more issues. I also have studied and developed many forms of specialist movements which I love to teach people so they are empowered to take care of their own body.

I am a fully insured practitioner and a member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists.

My working experiences include the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, Symphony Hall Major Artists, National Shukokai Karate team as well as many famous musicians and rock bands working with Dr Dot at drdot.com. I also enjoy working with a community interest company providing therapeutic treatments to sufferers of anxiety and depression.

My approach to treatment is about working in a truly holistic way. If you come in with shoulder pain, I will try and establish where it is coming from rather than just treat it. This way we can establish the root of the problem so we have a long term solution rather than a short term fix. I also provide advice on aftercare so people are more empowered to take care of their own body when they walk out the door.

Also, using my local network of highly skilled practitioners, I can also refer on if needed so you have the highest possible chance of recovery and results.

I find people fascinating and the reward of seeing others progress and achieve their potential is the driving force behind what I do.

Thanks for reading,

Roland.

Excellent Bowen Therapist!! I went to see Roland just to try something different as an alternative to counselling for anxiety and stress caused by pain. I was in a lot of pain and having hospital physiotherapist which wasn’t really working to get rid of the pain in my hands and wrist/ “carpal Tunnel syndrome? “ ... I was really surprised how quickly the pain down my right arm and in both my hands and wrist disappeared with the adjustment Roland did to my jaw. A very supportive therapist as a female I felt safe and was treated with empathy, kindness and respect! Very professional therapist!!
