About Health and Wellbeing Coaching
Practical support to help you feel better — in your body, your energy, and your daily life.
Sometimes the problem isn't one injury or one symptom. It's the way everything feels — tired all the time, stressed, struggling to stay consistent, or just not quite yourself. That's where health and wellbeing coaching comes in.
I'm Roland Baskerville, and alongside hands-on therapy, I offer practical, compassionate coaching to help you understand what your body and lifestyle need — and make changes that actually stick.
What is health & wellbeing coaching?
It's a structured, supportive conversation-based approach to improving how you feel and function day to day. Rather than telling you what to do, coaching helps you identify what's getting in the way, what matters most to you, and build a clear, realistic path forward.
Combined with my background in sports therapy, movement education and bodywork, my coaching goes beyond generic advice — it's grounded in how the body actually works, and tailored to your real life.
Who is it for?
Coaching is for you if you're:
Feeling burnt out, fatigued, or running on empty
Struggling with stress or nervous system overload
Finding it hard to stay consistent with movement, sleep or healthy habits

Looking to improve your energy, posture, or overall quality of life
Ready to make changes but not sure where to start
What we can work on together

Stress reduction and nervous system support
Sleep and recovery habits
Movement and exercise — finding what works for your body
Posture and how you carry yourself through daily life
Building sustainable routines that fit around your life
Self-care between therapy sessions
How it works
Sessions are relaxed, non-judgmental and focused on what you actually need. We start with a conversation about where you are now, what you'd like to change, and what support looks like for you.
From there, sessions can be in person in Birmingham, online, or a mix of both — whatever works best. I also draw on movement assessments, self-care techniques and practical tools you can use between sessions to keep building momentum.
And because I work with a trusted local network of practitioners, if you need additional support — from a physio, GP or another specialist — I'll point you in the right direction.
Why work with Roland?
With over 20 years in holistic and sports therapy — working with everyone from gym-goers and musicians to people managing anxiety, depression, and chronic pain — I bring a genuinely whole-person perspective to coaching. I understand how closely physical health, stress, movement, and mental wellbeing are connected, and I work with all of it.
My approach is calm, honest, and practical. No fads, no pressure — just real support to help you feel more balanced, capable and comfortable in your life.
